Roy Vongtama, MD
Actor, Doctor, Producer
Roy is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Buffalo School of Medicine. He completed his training in Radiation Oncology at UCLA. He is a physician in two fields, Radiation Oncology and Lifestyle Medicine, combining both to help people heal from cancer. He published his first book Healing Before You’re Cured, and is an author of 15 scientific papers in multiple international journals.
Roy has done over 8000 hours of meditation and led hundreds of group meditations. He is very active serving in the Youth Division of Self Realization Fellowship, a worldwide spiritual organization, designing programs for youth worldwide, including summer programs and online programs.
Roy is also an actor, writer and producer, whose theater credits include the Ovation Award-winning World Premiere plays EST/LA Watching OJ and Man of God, as well as the Off-Broadway World Premiere of Brothers Paranormal. Film credits include The Bucket List, and television roles on Station 19, The Shield, Private Practice, and many others. He has also produced 6 award-winning films.

Jim Wladyka
Wladyka Baseball
Jim is currently the Vice President, Pitching Coordinator and Recruiting Coordinator of Wladyka Baseball in NJ. He is also a Volunteer Pitching Coach at Don Bosco Preparatory High School in Ramsey, NJ. Jim was a member of the USA Baseball Coaching Staff and Selection Committee for the 18U Gold Medal Winners from 2014-2016.
Jim is a graduate of St. John’s University where he was a Big East Scholar Athlete in 2005. He was drafted by the New York Mets in 2005, and played four years of professional baseball with the New York Mets, Kansas City Royals and Texas Rangers between 2005 and 2008.

Megan Mclaughlin
OASIS - A Haven for Women & Children
Megan is the After School coordinator at Oasis Haven for Women and Children in Paterson, NJ. She has been with Oasis for 19 years, where she initially began her work as a tutor. Megan has taken great satisfaction and pride in supporting many amazing families and children at Oasis over the past several years. She has a special interest in youth development and educational programs.
Oasis was founded in 1997 and its mission is to change the lives of women and children by breaking the cycle of poverty through compassionate programs designed to feed, clothe, educate and empower women and children in need.

Ade'Kamil Kelly
Program Director Newark NJ Boys and Girls Club
Ade Kelly is a Boys and Girls Club of Newark alum, having started at 13 years old. During high school, Ade served as Keystone President for two years and was the 2013 Youth of the Year. Before rejoining the organization in 2024, Ade spent time in several industries including real estate, sales, accounting, finance and politics. It was during this time he developed a passion for serving the Newark NJ community. This resulted in him championing many local education advocacy initiatives over the years. Currently, Ade has transitioned from a site coordinator at one of BGCN’s school based sites to Program Director at the main clubhouse facility. Ade also serves as Vice President of the Newark Boys and Girls Club Alumni Association.

Om Manghani
Associate at Boston Consulting Group and founder of MathMates
Om is an Associate at Boston Consulting Group. A recent graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Om is deeply passionate about collaboratively improving educational experiences for public school students. He has founded and led MathMates (a student-led tutoring program in Philadelphia), interned at the Department of Education, and led the Student Advisory Board at the Netter Center, Penn’s hub for civic engagement.

Janvi Jhaveri (she/her)
CEO and Founder of Jack and Taboo
Janvi is the CEO and founder of Jack, an innovation and design consultancy, and Taboo, a venture studio focused on designing for shame. Her experience includes companies such as Nike, Waymo, Walmart, Sesame Street and Square, among others. Her areas of expertise include: venture design, innovation, customer insights and entrepreneurship. Janvi holds an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern and a BS from the Stern School of Business at New York University.

Michael Porter
Former Program & Membership Director Newark YMCA
After graduating from Montclair State University, Michael pursued a career teaching health/physical education and coaching for Paterson, Newark Public Schools, and South Orange/Maplewood School District. In 2017, he found a job at the Newark YMCA, that catered to his professional expertise. At the Y, he has been able to continue his passion working with children and their athletic development, adults trying to improve their health, and communities that need a positive role model.
Michael hopes that his legacy will be remembered as a love letter to communities about living their best healthy lifestyle.
